At the Mark Roe Sports Physio Academy we feel we have assembled a team of experts who can cater for any of your sports injury problems. We have a vast experience of working with sportspeople of all standards. We work with everyone from grass roots rugby players to professional darts players, sunday footballers to world champion boxers, future ice dance champions to senior tour golfers, and club swimmers to world renowned circus performers. Basically you name it – we can help treat it.
We offer a wide range of services from treatment in clinic, to golf specific therapy. We will come to your club house, or team meetings to talk, or even to your show to provide massage to your performers. Our event physiotherapy packages can be tailor made, so if your team has qualified for a tournament and you are looking for a professional approach to your competition, give us a call and we will look to provide a package to suit your needs. We have worked on grand events such as the massive Soccer Aid 2010 at a sell-out Manchester United ground, and as small as inter-club boxing at working mens clubs in Sheffield.

Our experts are qualified Chartered Physiotherapists and Sports Therapists with many years of experience, and all are trained to degree standard.
Some therapists charge next to nothing, working home, but are not regulated. So what at first seems cheap could work out expensive in the long run, and means you could potentially be getting the wrong advice, ineffective treatment, or even dangerous treatment with potentially serious consequences to your health. Our therapists will not leave you on a machine while they try to treat 2 or 3 other patients at the same time! If you are not getting 100% attention you are not getting 100% care. We believe our patients deserve 100%

We also have great relationships with local companies such as Sweatshop who provide a great service and discounted sports shoes to all our clients.
Some of our charity work comes through our involvement with the M1 Charity Football Team. This team is made up of soap stars and ex-professonal footballers. All games are played with the intention of raising much needed funds for various charities. Click on the logo to see our fixtures.
We also actively support all local sports bodies such as the Sheffield and Hallamshire FA, for whom we regularly write articles with regards to sports physiotherapy.
Our headquarters are based at Sheffield Therapy Centre, at Gleadless Townend. We are based on the main Sheffield ring road and cover local areas such as Ridgeway, Intake, Frechville, Birley, Mosborough, Crystal Peakes, Hackenthorpe, Owlthorpe, Manor, Norton and Meadowhead. Many of our clients travel from much further afield such as Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, and even Nottingham and Derby. We have even had one client travel across the border from Scotland to see us!
